I hope you know what this is

it is the wall I created

I cheated and watched how other people did it

and I now I have one too

A wall, big and sturdy

between you and me

I hope you know you can't get here

You can't get through

I build a wall for the better

For protection

for isolation

You came around

You didn't let go

You took down the first stone

and then you got out your pickaxe

You started taking down my wall

At first I was angry

and very upset

But the further you got

the more I let you in

I hope you know what this is

It's the bridge I'm building

It's not much, it's just the start

I hope you know that I build on you

Over all the mess in my life
